We have seen the benefits of gaming after traumatic brain injuries and other catastrophic injuries. This video shows a quadriplegic's controller design modification for Black Ops 2. The design modification is pretty cool and seems to provide a quality game experience. As someone who works with people who have experienced catastrophic injuries, I find this kind of focused, creative, solution-driven design process very exciting.
