His legal career has often brought him before the North Carolina Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia. He has also submitted briefs to the United States Supreme Court and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. His extensive experience has only strengthened and emboldened his commitment to excellence in the service of clients.
R. Clarke Speaks is a graduate of East Carolina University and Campbell University School of Law. He has presented at legal education seminars for the North Carolina Bar Association, through which he also wrote a guidebook for young lawyers. He is the author of The North Carolina Auto Injury Book, among other written works. A committed youth soccer and basketball coach, Speaks aims to provide those around him with the will and drive to exceed their own expectations for the future.
