Brian Geschickter joins Speaks Law as an experienced trial attorney. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Brian graduated from the George Mason School of Law and accepted a clerkship with the Chief Judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. After his clerkship, Brian joined a private insurance defense firm and then accepted a position as one of GEICO Staff Counsel’s litigation attorneys in its Fairfax County, Virginia Office.
Brian moved to North Carolina in 2004 and joined a litigation firm. After two years, Brian practiced as a sole practitioner for ten years, before agreeing to join the firm of Hogue Hill, LLP, as its senior associate. He has tried cases at all levels of both the Virginia and North Carolina Federal and State court systems and has participated in numerous successful mediations for his clients.
Brian and his family are originally from Alexandria, Virginia. Brian and his wife, Tracy, have known each other since high school. They began dating in 1998 and married in 1999. Their children, Katie and Garrett, attended Hoggard High School, and presently attend Appalachian State (Katie) and UNCW (Garrett). Tracy works as a Kindergarten Teacher locally. Brian enjoys spending time with his family and their two rescue dogs, Sandy and Piper; watching sporting events (professional football and NASCAR), working out, and enjoying time with his friends within the Church Community.
