Sarah Gray grew up in Monroe, North Carolina. After graduation from Monroe High School, she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina. While there she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She quickly fell in love with the New Hanover County area and always knew she wanted to plant roots and return. Afterwards, Sarah attended Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While there, she received her Juris Doctor.
During law school, Sarah received the Book Award in Federal Income Tax. Furthermore, she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, a legal honor society, Democratic Law Society, and Appalachian Women in Law Society. In addition, Sarah served as an intern for the Union County District Attorney’s Office in Union County, North Carolina.
Sarah practiced in the Mecklenburg County area for 10 years before moving back to New Hanover County. Sarah practices family law because she believes that no two cases are the same and wants to help people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
